My Week Report

This week............

Math- We got new books, but I was late to get one because I had an orthodontist appointment.

Social Studies- We have been reading our historical fiction books, but I'm finished so I just read a different book.

Science- We took a whole bunch of notes for our test on the 19th.

L.A.- I wrote my paragraph on Oprah Winfrey. It was about her family.

My Week Report

This week in school...........

Math- We had a math test that we studied for. I think I got a partial, but I'm not sure.

Social Studies- I read my historical fiction in 2 days! I was so surprised because it was like almost 200 pages. I think it was 187 pages. Not to mention I had to take historical notes that I found in it also. Then I have to do a report on it next week.

Science- We had another science test on Simple Machines and Waves. On the first page I Met Standard, but on the second page, Oh boy, I got a Does Not Meet. Our next test is on 11/19.

L.A.- We are learning how to write good paragraphs and I finished my biography! Next week we have to write paragraphs on the person the biography was about.

Math- We have a test today(Friday), study packets
Language Arts- Reading Margaret Peterson Haddix books, switching to a different author
Science- We also have a test today(Friday), taking notes an waves and simple machines
Social Studies- We worked on our country reports
Computer- working on our country report comic life slides

My Week Report

This week we were busy. In L.A. we are working on Response to Literatures. In Science we're working on our mapping project, which I did not finish on time. In Math we are working on the Wump family. In Science we are working on our Hardware Trees, which are very confusing. Other than those, School is going great! Laptops are really fun, too!

My Week Report

Today I'm doing my first week report. It's where I have to post what happened and what I learned this week. This is the week of Sept. 24- Sept. 28. First I'll tell you about L.A. We have been reading out of our Junior Great Book this week. Now for Social Studies. For S.S. we did our historical fiction books and projects. In Science we went outside and we worked on our small site descriptions. We also were introduced to our next project. In Math we've been going over our study guide for a test coming up next week.. We've also been learning how to convert fractions. In Spanish we have fun.......sometimes. The reason we don't is 'cause we have to work. Imagine that! Working in school. Altogether school is coming out nicely. It's a little difficult to get used to all the different things, but it's a start.
